Had a great Thanksgiving with Tanessa and Riley today! It was an amazing day.

My find in Chinatown last weekend. There are a few more pictures of the trip on www.crookednshanky.tumblr.com
It’s official.
I would like to announce my early retirement from catching the bouquet at weddings. I have successfully bombed two professional pictures that I know of and I think that is plenty. Cards and well wishings can be sent to my home address.

Go away.
- Coworker: What happened to your hair? Didn't it used to be a color not found in nature?
- Me: Thank you.
Party aminals.
I just overheard my neighbors talking about the facts of herpes. One of the guys actually gagged during the conversation. Sounds like a fun party to me.
Another one.
My sister and I are going to start a blog together…we’ll see how long it takes Sara to publish a post.
crookednshanky:Hi Twin-Face.
Hey Sara, I’m super pumped to start this blog with you. Did I tell you I am making a movie and you are in it? Here is a little taste of the awesomeness that is coming.
The movie has other people in it besides you. I just wanted to make sure I don’t look like a creepy twin making an entire movie of your head cut out of pictures. Because that would be weird. You better write on this page! Love, Nanda.
email.
- Me: Are you so excited about the bars staying open until two?
- Dimebag: I'm not too excited about it, but it will take some getting used to. Like having a tail.
- Me: I had no idea you had a tail.
- Dimebag: I also have a wish dragon. Actually it's just a squirrel without back legs, but sometimes it grants me wishes.
Project #2
I have seen this on a few blogs lately so I decided to brighten up my book shelves a bit. The elephant is still in progress, it might not make the cut.
Earlier this year my best friend had her first child and named him Finn. I had this shirt made for him and it finally fits! Get it?…..F bomb :)
I got the ribbons and bows for the rehearsal bouquet two days before the wedding. There was a lot of satin ribbon so I decided to make flowers out of it. I was able to incorporate the bows, napkins, hanging tissue puffs, and even straws from the shower. With a few jewels, some floral tape and a lot of hot glue, I was able to come up with this bouquet and hair piece for rehearsal night.
Pillow Talk.
- Here is an excerpt of an awkward conversation with an ex in the early days of our short lived relationship.
- Him: Do you have siblings?
- Me: Yes, I have two older brothers in their forties and a twin sister. We were kind of an accident.
- Him: Oh really?
- Me: Yes, but I always tell my sister she was the real accident because she was born second.
- Him: Oh.
- Me: Do you have any siblings?
- Him: Yes, I have a brother in his forties and...
- Me: Oh, so you were an accident too?
- Him: Um, yeah. I was adopted.
